"Musical Theater" is a genre/type of play that includes music, singing, and often dancing.

 

"Broadway" is a coveted street in Manhattan, New York where successful shows, Musical Theater or straight Plays, are performed.

Congratulations on advancing to this test! Most of you had a total switch in genre. For this test, let's do a gender swap. See mechanics below:

   ✔️ Using your own style, you must sing a song from a musical played in either Broadway or West End that was originally sung by your opposite gender

​

  ✔️ Song must be opened as GROUP

​

  ✔️ Allowed FXs: Indie, Super Studio, Studio, Polish, Opera - use them wisely at your own discretion

​

  ✔️ Minimum: 2 layers

​

  ✔️ Must use provided cover art

​

  ✔️ Video entries are allowed but will not affect your scores

​

  ✔️ You must only use the original version

​

  ✔️ Background vocals on track are not allowed

​

  ✔️ Musical movies songs played in either Broadway or West End are allowed EXCEPT musicals produced by the following: Disney on Broadway or Disney Theatrical Production, The Sound of Music and Cats the Musical

  ✔️ Late entries will NOT be accepted and will mean DISQUALIFICATION

  ✔️ Incomplete requirements will mean DISQUALIFICATION

3.) INTERPRETATION - clarity of the theme

4.) ELITE FACTOR - overall performance
